In the village of Orp-Jauche, of which Noduwez is a part, (+/- 8min drive), you will find 2 bakeries, a butcher, pharmacy, great pizza…and an OKAY supermarket.
Every Tuesday morning, the local vegetable market takes place here as well.
On Thursday evening you can pick up a freshly baked hamburger at 'Foodtruck La Bonne Franquette' on the square in front of our door, delicious with homemade potatoes! Enjoying the sun on our terrace, (H)onest and affordable!
The Spar (also open on Sundays until noon) can be found just past the roundabout in Hélécine (direction E40), less than 5 minutes drive. Always fresh products and very friendly staff.

During the Christmas period, we enjoy the Christmas tree offered by 'la commune', which is placed in the middle of the square. Always a bit more of a treat to come home to during this period.
A neighboring manège sends horses passing by, or you suddenly stand eye to eye with a deer from the field. We already had the opportunity to experience this in person...
On Saturday evening there is a mass in the church next door and the square might be a bit more busy than usual.
Be sure to visit the Provincial Domain and the Hélécine Castle, 5 minutes away. Enjoy the beautiful park with its petting zoo, animals, sports fields, dog walking area, … Around holidays, the castle has extra animation and events for enthusiasts.
Bad weather, no problem, enjoy a day of water slide fun at Plopsaqua Landen-Hannuit, a 10 minutes drive away.
